Privacy Policy

1. Summary

  • Kareki never asks you to create an account.
  • We do not collect personal data such as your name, email address, phone number or location.
  • Your game data stays on your own device and is never sent to us.

2. Data Stored on Your Device

The following is kept in your device’s local storage so the App can work:

  • the version and date of your policy acceptance,
  • the sudoku experience answer you gave on first launch,
  • the state of your current game (board, notes, time, mistakes),
  • your level progress and which difficulties are unlocked,
  • statistics (games played/won, times, scores, streaks),
  • your app settings (sound, highlighting preferences and so on).

This data is removed from your device when you delete the App. You can clear your statistics at any time from Me › Statistics › Reset Statistics.

3. App Permissions

The App asks for no sensitive permission: no camera, location, microphone, contacts, photos or files. The only permission declared on Android is internet access, which the game does not use — it runs offline.

4. Device Backup

If Android’s automatic backup is on, your game progress and settings may be copied into your own Google account backup. That backup is governed by Google’s privacy policy, never reaches us, and holds no personal data. You can turn backup off in your device settings.

5. Third Parties

This version of the App contains no advertising, analytics or tracking services. If such services are added later, this policy will be updated and your explicit consent will be requested where required.

The app store you downloaded the App from (for example Google Play) may process data under its own privacy policy; those operations are outside our control.

6. Children’s Privacy

Kareki is suitable for users of all ages and does not knowingly collect personal data from children.

7. Your Rights

Because we process no personal data, we hold nothing about you under Turkish Personal Data Protection Law no. 6698 (KVKK) or comparable legislation. You are still welcome to contact us with any question or request.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version and date are shown at the top of this page; for material changes you will be informed when the App starts and asked to accept them again.
